THE EMPIRE.
A TRIANGLE-KEYSTONE LAUGHTER SENSATION TO-DAY, . "DIZZY HEIGHTS AND DARING HEARTS. The change of programme to be screened at the matinee and night sessions today is both varied and interesting, with comedy the predominating feature. Chester Conklin (alias "Mr. Walrus") stars ill Mack Scnnett's latest and greatest piece of Triangle-Keystone fun-mak-ing, "Dizzy Heights and Daring Hearts." Walrus and another man are rivals for the hand of a girl, whose father owns an aeroplane factory. Walrus goes to the factory to buy for his countiy, meeting the girl on the train on his way. He arrives at the factory, sees who the girl is, and asks her to go with him for a fly. When they get into the air the girl opens her umbrella and jumps to the ground. The next scene shows his rival flying over the factory when one of the wings breaks oil the aeroplane and lands on the top of the factory chimney. Walrus sees a chance to get rid of his rival, when the latter climbs up the chimney to lift the wing off. Walrus blows up with dynamite the huge stack, but the i girl swoops down in an aeroplane and [ picks up her lover just as it falls. The other pictures showing are also excellent, especially the 2000 ft Vitagraph drama, "The Gods Redeem," in which Maurice Costello and Leah Baird art seen to advantage. The Sidney Drew comedy "For the Love of a Girl" arouses much amusement, while the topical pictures, showing Ypres and 'the terrible ■havoc wrought by the shells of both armies, are of particular interest.
