ARMY CONTRACTOR FINED. By Telegraph.—Pres3 Association. Wellington, Sept. 22. At the Magistrate's Court, H. G. Bedell, clothing manufacturer, was fined £lO for breaking his contract for the supply of military garments, by using cotton instead of linen thread. Counsel explained that Bedell was unable to secure linen thread of the requisite color. The contract was cancelled when the breach was discovered by the authorities.
