! ' A STORE GUTTED. Sydney, Sept. 19. A 'ire at Tamwortli destroyed ths store ot Smith and Company, the duniage being £IO,OOO. TRIAL OF NOTE FORGERS. Sydney, Sept. 19. The eight men arrested in connection with the forged £5 notes are before the court. Nearly all are connected with the pr nting trade and several are mem. hers of the I.W.W. Henry Bradbury admitted printing about 3000 notes. He said he was forced to act at the revolver's point. One of the accused has been d'v charged.
