At the. Magistrate's Court oil Tuesday, before' Mr. Bradshaw Dive, J.P., a man charged with vagrancy, was convicted and sentenced, to one month's imprisonment in New Plymouth gaol. Mesf.ra. Forsyth, Marx, and Powdrell, with Mr. L. Weir, solicitor, left on Tuesday morning on business in connection with the formation of the Rennet Company. Hie Elthani Presbyterian Young Ladies' Guild intend sending Christmas gifts to the boys at the front shortly.
