Good fields are assured in the Wanganui Guineas, Spring Handicap, and hack events. , The best worker on the Wanganui tracks of late ha;, been Square Deal, ••vho must run well in whatever he starts. The tormer is looking very well. "Dick" Mason lias a trio on the spot, nainelj Nones, Greenstrect, and Splendunt (Hyniettns—Sunglow). None of the team has done much since their arrival. George Price ha 3 a big crowd under )-is care, including Panmure, Sedd-el tiahr, Cease Fire, Revalenta, and lesser hght3. The quartette have all worked well at Wanganui, and Cease Fire is being whispered as a likely Wanganui Guineas winner.
