' TERMS OF SETTLEMENT. ' By Telegraph.—Press Association'. Wellington, Sept 16. ■ The terms of settlement in the Lev? 1 case are announced by the Hon. Arthur Myers, Minister in Charge of Munition* and Supplies. They include the cancellation of Levy's contract. Stands of goods valued at £IO,OOO, garments stated to be sewn with linen thread, tha Minister will accept delivery of, prov vided iliey comply with the tions. He will permit Levy to resew with lined thread, garments valued all Ul.">,">ny delivered but rejected. He will consent to Levy being relieved of £4721 worth of khaki cloth provided it is of New Zealand manufacture and in perfect rendition. The Government refuses to give special consideral'cn to. Levy owing to Hie strain on his fnai.ees. Levy i* to pay the Government the Bum of .t.7dCO in settlement of the claim by the Crown. Levy is to pay a fine of £SO and costs imposed iu accordance with the conviction, and publicity is to be given to the full terms of setlement. the term-, were made by the Crown and accepted by Messrs. Gray and Jackson, Lc\y's counsel.
