The final for the junior championship was played at Waiwakaiho on Tuesday, between Miss Constance Lcatham and Mrs. Birch-Johnston, the former proving the winner by 2 up, after a most even game. At the turn Miss Leatham was 1 up, and increased this to 3 up at the 14th, but the players were all square at the I7th hole. Then, with two sevens, Miss Leatham ended the match, 2 up, and so secured the junior championship for 191 & YVTTIORA CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS. The first round of the senior ehampionshiop resulted as follows: E. P. Loftus beat T. V. Maekay, 2 up and 1. G. Grey beat V. 11. Seal, 5 up and 4. J. S. S. Medley beat J. -Simpson, 2 up and 1. A. K. Smart beat 0. Bayly, 3 up and .J. Stohr beat W. H. Broome, 1 up. C. McAllum beat A. Smith, 1 up at 21st hole. J. D. Sole beat A. S. Hasell, 3 up and 2. l V. Elliott beat E. Gilmour, 1 up. The following are the draws for the second round: E. P. Loftus plays .1. Stohr; C, McAllum plays 0. S. S." Medley; G. Grey plays A. K. Smart; J. D. Sole plays V. Elliott. The first round of the Junior Championship resulted as follows: J. G. List heat J. McKean, 5 up and 4. . l Hawkes heat G. A, Corney, ,1 up and A. McHardy beat XV. h. Luscombe 3 up and 2. Johnson and Furlong have yet to play. The following are the draws for the second round: Hawkes v. J. G. List; A. McHardy plays the winner of Johnson and Furlong.
