ROYAL OAK CHEESE FACTORY.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of suppliers of the Royal Oak Cheese Factory. Omata, was held in the Omata Hall on Tuesday evening, Mr. S. Vickers presiding. The annual report stated that in

spite of the fact that the Government took one-third of the output for the season at 7>/.d the suppliers had been paid Is Id per lb for butter-fat for the w'-hole period, and a further payment of Id*per lb was being made, which would absorb £307. There were still 3fio crates of cheese for whicn no account sales had been received, and as the Home market was good when these shipments arrived the committee hoped that the results would be such as to allow a still further payment of Id. The report was adopted. A committee of five to conduct tlie business of the factory during the ensuing year was elected, namely, Messrs S. Vickers, J. A. Kurth, Wi H. Ad'um, F. E. Morris, and E. R. Raily. The chairman was voted '£s 5s for his services during the past year, and members of the committee 5s each for each meeting attended, and it was resolved that the rhairman receive £lO 10s for the current year and committeemen 5s each for each meeting attended. It was decided to deduct %<i per lb of butter-fat for the ensuing season, provided the Government does not commandeer the output or any portion of it, same to be devoted to the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. It was also decided that the test of each supplier, together with the name, be posted .it the factory on test days. Sir. Coivnett, on behalf of the A. and P. Society, adduced the meeting, and :i resolution was passed authorising tin secretary to deduct subscriptions from the December milk cheques as was done last year.
