CONFERENCE OF CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE. PROPOSED VISIT TO FRANCE. London, September 11. A Government-invited congress of Chambers of Commerce in South Africa opened to-day in Capetown, to nominate four commercial men who, in conjunction with the Trades Commissioner in London, will visit France with similar delegations from Australia and New Zealand, with the view of fostering trade between France and the dominions.
