A SERIOUS CHARGE
JTJHY AGAIN DISAGREE. A THffiD TRIAL ORDERED. By Tslegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. At the Supremo Court to-day, Rich* ard Patrick Pollard was re-tried before Mr. Justice Edwards on a charge of illegally using an instrument with tho intent to procure a miscarriage. The girl concerned died in the hospital. Accused, at tho time of his arrest, was recruiting oflieer for the Defence Department at Hawera. The jury dir agreed, and a third trial was ordered.
