FALLING OFF IN TELEGRAMS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday, The e return furnished by the Post-master-General shows* that during July last, 445,137 ordinary telegrams were sent in the whole Dominion, or *9,434 less than in July last year. On account of the increase in charges, however, there was an increase in revenue of £261. Bureau messages increased in July from 329,255 to 332,546 and the revenue therefrom by £228. Press messages decreased from 39,670 tc 25,893, but the revenue increased by £95. The net telegraph revenue for July this year is £30,951, being an increase of £6Ol over July, 1915.
