ENTERTAINMENTS.
THE DANDIES. The reputation of "The Dandies" Is such that they should command a very large audience when they appear in the Good Templar Hall for a four-nights' season co mmencing next Tuesday. Coming as they do with the hall mark of public approval bestowed on them in other places, including Auckland and Wellington, it is reasonable to suppose tliat the visiting company will present an entertainment of high standard. Of the artists who will appear, .Miss Lily Fitzgerald and Mr. Ford Waltham were members of that great combination, "The. Scarlet Troubadours." Mr. Joseph Brennan, the chief comedian, is said to excel in character impersonations, his portrayals being very diverting. Mr. John Campbell, the light comedian, was a member of the ''Bimty l'ulls the Strings" company, ! which toured the ■Dominion last season. With Miss Rita Fitzgerald and Miss Ida Xewton, described as a pair of dainty comediennes, and further support by Messrs. Robert Agnew, Marshal Lawrence, and, Philip Hardman, "The Dandies" appear to be all that is claimed for them—ll versatile combination, presenting .a bright and breezy bill-of-fare, Kac-h evening they will present an entire change of programme. Seats may be reset red at Collier's.
