At Waiwakaito to-day, the ladies will play a Red Cross medal match, for which players are asked to arrange for their partners. In conjunction with this match the second round of the Eclectic Match (postponed from last Tuesday) will be played. Entries for the lqcal championships closed on Friday, and the draw is as follows: •SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. Mrs. Walker plays Mrs. Glenn. Miss Free plays Miss A. Read. Mrs. McQuade plays Miss E. Putt. Miss Thomson plays Mrs. Johns. Byes—Misses F. Putt, A, Brewster (above). Byes—Mrs. Quilliam, Itjss Blundeil (below). ~ JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. Miss I. Foote plays Miss C. Leatham. Mrs. B. Johnston plays Mrs. Bain. Miss K. Free plays Miss L. Reed,. Miss Kollo, a bye. The first and second rounds are to be played by September 12.
