DESTRUCTIVE FIRE.
INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Yesterday. A fire at Waiuku at four o'clodt thii morning totally destroyed the shops <>' J. Grible, saddler; King, stationer, and also Waldiug's Binfa bakery, and the empty shop adjoining; shops" of Storey, a watchmaker, and tha shop belonging to Henare liaihau,-, The occupants of Walding'a and Bint's escaped in their night clothes. Nothing was saved from any of the premisen except Storey's. Tho fire at Waiuku also destroyed ■ Fan-elly's building and office and H. S. Limmer's butcher's shop. Incendiarism it suspected. There were two outbreaks. The first, at Cribble's shop on Sunday; morning, was extinguished in the early; stages. The second outbreak this morning was discovered only when the flra had a good hold of Gribble's premises. It is believed that after the first fire, rjliDish, consisting of straw, etc, t which | wan removed, was brought back, as itf I was found near Gribble's building.
