ON THE SEA.
BREMEN. REPORTED CAPTURE REVIVED. New York, August 25. The City News Association quotes an. unnamed. British captain who has arrived in New, York from Britain as saying that the Bremen has been captured in the English Channel. Thirtythree of the crew were taken prisoners and two accidentally killed. The Bremen was caught in a net. The Willeliad, a German vessel inlerneil at Boston, which has been chartered by the flerman Undersea Company, made a fast dash and was docked at New London to-day. A cargo of niekcl and rubber is being loaded on board a barge at Baltimore for transportation to New London. It is understood that it will form the Bremen's return cargo if she arrives. A STEAMER TORPEDOED. Received August 27, 5.5 p.m London, August 20. The Admiralty reports that the boarding steamer Duke of Albany was torpedoed and sunk in the Nortii Sea. Twenty-four perished. The Duke of Albany was sunk by a submarine on Thursday. Commander Banage, Engineer-Lieut. Maskell, and 22 men were lost. Eleven officers and 70 men were saved.
