COMPULSION NEXT MONTH. The members of the Auckland City Recruiting Committee were informed hy ,'. The question of the Military Service" Boards to be appointed for the hearing of appeals under the Military Service Act was also discussed. It 'was- represented by members of the committee that the proposal to have one Board ' only for each Island n as inadequate, and that there should be one Board for each military district. ■, Sir Alfred Robin agreed with this suggestion, and the mate- will be further discussed with him before lie leaves the, city.
