MEDICAL INSPECTION OP SCHOOL CHILDREN.; By Telegraph.—.Press Association. ■Wellington, Last Night. Hon. J. A. Hanan, Minister for Education, stated to-day that the medical inspector of school children was bringing to light a number of pitiable cases of feeble-minded children, for whom better provision than at present exists is required. In a district lately inspected, a family of twelve children were found, all of whom were move or les s feeble-minded. The. matter ought to be dealt with in a thoroughly comprehensive manner, but first it was necessary to ascertain how many such cases there are in the Dominion requiring special treatment in institutions. The matter is uow receiving consideration.
