(From Jur Own Correspondent.] There was a full attendance 01 the eommittee of the Patriotic Society on Monday night, Mr. G. l'oung (Mayer) piesiding. A letter was received from the secretary of the Xew Plymouth Soldiers' Club, notifying that the cluh hud licen formed and roqiii'stinu tin; committee to advice any returned men accordingly. The chairman reported reg'arding a visit to Tarata on the occasion 01 the lalter's patriotic gathering, and Tamta's decision to join the centre. The secretary reported the position of the different funds, which are as follow: General fund £373 los Od. Belgian relief £l4 12-- Ud, Sick and Wounded Soldiers' .toot Ills 4d, Naval Dependents £l,")'2 4s 7d. ' It was decided to transfer £3QO from the general fund to the Sic!: and Wounded Soldiers' fund, and remit HSOO from the latter fund to the Taranald War Relief Association, also to forward the amount to the credit of the STaval Dependents' Fund to the secretary of the Navy League, Wellington.
