AXXUAL MEETING. There was a good attendance of share holders at the annual meeting of the Tarurutangi Co-operative Dairy Company, Mr. G. M. Longstaff, chairman of directors, presiding. The eighteenth anyua) report referred with satisfaction to the result rff last year's operations. The quantity of cream received '\vas 301,1001b, this produced 151,6221b of butter-fat, which manufactured 175,533 lb butter. The average test was 3.01 and over-run 15.70. The avfiage grade for the year has been 53.15. The actual cost of making was 0.71 d per lb. Placing butter on the market, including charges, boxes, etc., brought the total cost to 1.45 d per lb. The average cash payment to suppliers was 14.22J per lb butter-fat. The report was adopted. A tonus equal to another 2d per lb was paid out at the meeting. The retiring directors, Messrs G. M. I.ongstaff, E.'T. Scott, E. J. S. Marsh, X B. Bishop, and E. H. Eynon, were re-elected. A vote of thanks was accorded to the directors for their services during the past year. At a subsequent meeting of directors Mr. Longstaff was re-elected chairman.
