HUNTING.
Tlii' North Tav.irnki Hunt Club mot at IljL'Jiior.t Village ■ u Thursday, and a liiu afternoon's sport was obtained, tin; propcrtiei hunted over being those of Messrs. R. Price and Oponshaw. Hares were plentiful. Riving numerous runs, and from the throw ofl' at 2 p.m. until close on 4 p.m., the hunting was practically continuous. The country was ideal for the purpose, and being well sparred, some excellent jumping was witnessed. The hounds worked well, getting two kills during the afternoon. The" thanks of the Hunt are due to the settlers of Kgmont Village, and to Messrs. Price and Openshaw especially, who spared no pains to make the outing such an undoubted'success, besides entertaining liberally the company. The Master (Mr. Halcombe) welcomed several 'returned soldiers who were present, and at the same time wished Mr. R. I'rice, junr., who is leaving for the front, <!odspced and u safe return. Mr. Price, senr.. extended a very hearty invitation to the Hunt to use his property again next year.
