INGLEWOOD. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Inglewood, August IS. The following leave by the express train 011 Monday for camp: Messrs L. F. Broadmore, N. I'. Curd, A. G. Drake, F Duckett, F. Ilodges, J. E. Hodges, W. Hogg, E. Julian. L. Miller, E. E. Olson, B. li'otroz, E. A.' Ward, W. W. Paterson, and T. Molloy. The Golf Club competitions recently held were won by the following:—Mr. Geddcs' trophy, Miss D. Laing; Mrs. and Misses Laing's trophy (bogey match), Mrs. 11. J. M. Thomson, 0 down, Mrs. O'Carroll being runner-up with !) down. Or. Thursday the monthly medal competitions were held, and resulted as follows: —Ladies': Miss Johnston 70 net, Mrs. F. Brown 8,1. Men's: R. Young 73 net, Mr. Gudgeon 74. At the Borough Council meeting 011 Wednesday night it was unanimously decided to give Mr. Olson five weeks' salary in lieu of holidays. Mr. Olson has been borough clerk for two years, and has not had leave during that period. He is now leaving for camp, licnce the decision of the Council.
