PRIMARY SCHOOLS' MATCH. A team from the Hswera Oehoo! vhited New Plymouth or. Saturday morning and tried conclusions with a team irom the Central School. A fast and interesting game resulted in a win for the visitors by .'i points to nil. Qsborns scored a try in the last quarter of ail hour's play. Mr A. Cray refcreed. In Saturday afternoon a scratch fifteen from the New Plymouth High School met a Civil Service team on the Recreation Ground, and were defeated by o points (a converted try) to 3 (a penalty goad). Teams styling themselves "Laborers" and 'Tanners'' played a match on the racecourse on Saturday afternoon, the result being a draw, each side scoring 3 points. The patriotic funds were heneiited by a fair collection that was taken at the gates. In the evening the teams dined at the Terminus Hotel, and a pleasant social hour was spent.
