AUTOMOBILE UX.IOX. By Telegraph.—Pi-ess Association. Wellington, August 4. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Automobile Union was held to-day. The executive, in the report, after referring to the nceesity for having regulations dealing with licenses and other .•natters affecting motorists, drew attention to the enormous increase in the motor trade with America. Although importations from the United Kingdom had virtually ceased ioi a time, it would, says the report, he a great misfortune if, when times have changed, a non-British monopoly was found to have been established hero.
