Herdinan to-day, dealing with the work of the Discharged Soldiers' In- ' formation Department, shows that the number of eases dealt with is rapidly mounting up. To date 5236 names are on tins register; of \\me 3500 cases have been disposed oi, 1028 nre being dealt with, and 609 are not ready for action, including men who returned by recent transports.
