FOOTBALL.
A Mnnaia-Okaiawa football team visited Opunake on Saturday last, and after a hard and fast game, the whistle sounded no side. The teams were very evenly matched, Opunake being, if anything, a little heavier than the visitors in the forwards. Owing to the inclement weather yestcrdiiv, all football matches arranged I tor that day were postponed.
