WAD LOAN RUSHED. A RECORD ESTABLISHED. •Received August 1, 10 p.m. \ Sydney, August. 1. There was a fine rush by war loan applicants, representatives of all classes of the community, who besieged the Commonwealth bank and branches. A f pecial stall' are dealing with enormous mails. No estimates as to subscriptions are available, although officials are satisfied that the investments inscribed for stock and bonds will exceed any previous occasion.
