OFFENCES- AGAINST CHILDREN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, July 31. The Grand Jury to-day laid a recommendation before Mr. Justice Denniston that they, in view of the fact that offences against children appeared to be on the increase, unanimously recommend to the authorities that steps be taken by which accused should be retained in custody under inspection by a doctor, and when incurable the authorities should consider the advisability of an operation.
