AN AUCKLAND BURGLARY.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, July 29. The Home and Colonial Stores' Newton branch was burglariously entered last night. The burglars removed the safe to a cellar and packed it with flour in bags, and then forced -it open with explosives, using butter from the store to tamp the charge. It is estimated that about £l5O was stolen. The burglars broke two cash registers in the shop, apparently with an axe, and extracted £4 from them.
