' FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Niglit. Present indications are for strong south-easterly winds with squally ami showery weather in and north of Cook Straits, and easterly winds, changing to freshening northerlies, with fair to oloudy weather elsewhere. The barometer has a rising tendency in the north, but will probably fall soon in the south.
