(From Our Own Correspondent). At Hie Anglican uncial on Fridaynig'ht, songs were contributed .l.y Mesdames llutton and I. (.ira-nt and Messrs lliiUon mill W'asstaiV; also musical selections by the Wilson family aiui a piano solo by Miss K. 'Horner, all of which were jiiuc'li appreciated. Tiie senior competition was won by the Hisses Rolstou (tie), and the junior by Miss 13. Ksse, with Mr. Kay Anderson second.
I regret to have to report that Mm. Curtis has had another cable to the effect that Corporal Ken. Curtis' wound k of a dangerous nature. The Borough Council have decided to enlarge the cemetery, as at present there are very few plots left. The difficulty lias been got over by the Council deciding to survey and transfer to the present reserve an acre from the reserve adjoining.
The following left by the express on Monday for camp:—Messrs J. E. and T. B. Hall, E. Drake, YV. Langley, K. Kuklinski, R. L. Uaynor, D. Eraser, J. Yarley, F. R. Watorson and T. Wallace. Tn the absence of the Mayor, Mr. He,nry Brown addressed the men, after which the usual parcel of comforts, provided by the ladies, was handed to each man.
