Two exceptional star films are included on I In; lmw programme to be screened nt the "Empire" 10-nighl. The first is a Broadway slur entitled "Hearts Ablaze," featuring Julia Sway up Gordon. Leo Delaney and Kogers Lytton. With such a trio of proven stars even a mediocre story would prove interesting, and in the present instance the story is just as powerful ?.s the east. Malvini, broken-hearted over the elopement of his young wife, returns to a monastery. After 20 years ho returns to find his daughter. Valeria accused of killing the man with whom his wife eloped. Mario, the girl's lover, had shot the man in selfdefence and the victim lias accused Valeria. Mario goes temporarily insane but at the last moment recovers to tell his story. The second feature on the programme is the ever popular Vitagraph feature "The Battle Hymn of the Republic." This is only a thousand-foot drama and it has previously been screened in the local theatres but has never failed to draw record attendances whenever screened. It is one of those pictures that people never tire of viewing. "The Battle Hymn" will also be screened on the "Woman on the Box" programme to-morrow night. Seats may be reserved at Collier's. .
