Sir, —Th? rooms for Hip Anzac Cliil) arc now Icing got ready, and the comforts sub-committee of the 'Patriotic Committee have undertaken to provide books for the Chib, and we appeal through your columns to the public to send in what hooks (hey can for that purpose. These may he left at the patriotic rooms in Brougham street, or at Messrs S. B. White'and Sons, Devon street. Works of history and travel as well as novels .*■■ ill be acceptable. We are desirous of procuring these within the next fortnight i:i readiness for the opening of the Club rooms. We are also sending forward another lnrgc parcel of books to the troops at the front. For this purpose the ninepeniiy and fifleenpenny editions of novels are particularly suitable, as they are small pocket editions. May we ask all wishing to'help to do so at once?—We arc, for the committee,—
