FRENCH REPEL ATTACKS.
AIRCRAFT WORK. Paris, July i\, A communique says that the enemy late on Wednesday counter-attacked koulli of Soyecoiirt. The Germans bombarded the open towns of Baccarat and Luneville, which fact is noted for reprisals. " '<! GERMAN CLAIMS. REGARDLESS OF TRUTH. Received July 23, 5.5 p.m. Amsterdam, July 22. A German communique asserts that the Allies have abandoned their great uniform attacks at the Sommc, after their defeat on previous days. It also claims the Germans captured many prisoners when they cleared the British out near Fouvcourt Wood. i GERMAN RAIDS REPULSED. STATIONS BOMBED. Received July 23, 5.20 p.m. PaTis, July 22. A communique states: Several minor German raids were repulsed on various fronts. Our air squadron thrice bombarded Metz and Sablons stations, great damage being observed.
