Mr. Balsillie, the wireless expert, states that he has proved conclusively that rain can be stimulated by electrical means. Ilis experiments proved that at least .'JO per cent, of stimulation could be maintained. He emphasises that he does not claim to produce rain, only to stimulate light fails. , WAR LOAN INSTALMENTS. Melbourne, July 20. Mr. Iliggs announced that employers are not legally required to guarantee the payment of employeees' instalments the war loan. Should an employee be unable to continue the Government will refund the instalment paid. In appealing for subscriptions the Minister stated Australia required fifty millions annually for war purposes.
