A party of motorists in a large car, the property of Mr. dolm Hall, of Christchurch, on Sunday journeyed to the month of the Waimakariri, via the North Brighton beach. - Nearing the river the party got into difficulties, tlip car settling in the qnickstands, where it now remains, with the sea washing over it.
