The death is reported from Ports of the famous Russian bacteriologist. Professor Elie Mctchnikorf, at the ago of 71. The professor, who gained hia reputation iu Russia, went to Paris in 1890 to study, and was appointed professor at the Pasteur Institute in 1904.
