(;i) Town store-buildings, sttyketc, *OSO 3s 2d; transmission a „ d reticulation main, C 3410 18s 3d; transformers erected, £O7O Us; meters, £936 •Is; show-room stock and stores £430 8s Od; ollice fittings and furniture £B6 13s (Id; freehold and leasehold land and premises, £170; goodwill £800; water rights £IO3O, making a total of £15237 0s 4d. The Public Trustee wrote stating that tlie Council's application for a loan of £IO,OOO at 514 per cent., plus one per cent, sinking fund, for 36 years, subject to the sufficiency and ■legality' of the security, had been granted. _Mrs. Collinson's tender for the municipal tea-rooms was accepted. The picture syndicate that has purchased the property of Mr. T. C. Fookes on Uroadw'ny, whereon now stands Mr. Mills' shop, -wrote offering the Council the earth on the premises, and the offer was referred to the Works Committee, with power to act. "• ".
