GOOD PROGRESS. ITALIAN* WARSHIPS ACTIVE. Rome, July 12. Italian warships bombarded a hydroplane station at Parengo, notwithstanding violent fire from a land battery. Wellington, July 13. The Higli Commissioner reports under date London, July 12 (5.40 p.m.):— Yesterday in the Adige Valley the Italians progressed northwards to Arraville, and to positions at Malagagugna, on the northern slopes of Mount Pasubio. The positions on Mount Corno lost on Monday were partially reoceupied. The artillery fired enemy encampments at lavorsek, and broke up an enemy column in tlie Idria Valley and caused explosions in Santa Maria Church, Tolmino. PROGRESS ON THE ISONZO. ENEMY COLUMN BROKEN. Received July 13, 7.40 p.m. Rome, July 12. A communique states: Some progress has been made in the Adige Valley. North of the Serva Valley our batteries ignited encampments on the lavorcek and on the Isonzo front. We broke up an enemy column at Idria valley.
