The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., yesterday received the following cable from their London oflice: "Merino market active. Compared with June 8, prices are 5 per cent, to 71 per cent, higher for crossbred. There is a good demand for fine, at pinto 5 pel cent, higher, but coarse is par to 0 per cent, lower."
