SUICIDE \T CAMP. Wellington, Yesterday. Private J. Smith, of the infantry details, and formerly of E Company, |.">th Reinforcement*, committed suicide at the Featherstou camp on Thursday morning, by cutting his throat with u razor'just before the laths left on their march over the hill for Trentham. He had given im indication of his intention. He was about 30 years of age and came froax the Auckland district.
