Mr. Linn is well known ibroughout Australasia as a breeder, judge and exhibitor of pedigree Jerseys. Competent judges consider his pedigree herd one of the finest south of the line. J\* well as being superior from a utility point of view these cattle have been highly successful in the show ring, and <!uring the last few seasons have secured the fol.owing awards:— 2") championships, 7 reserve championships, 20 medals, 4 cups, 120 firsts, 05 seconds and , '.'.', thirds, a record which in itself speaks 1 volumes. Twenty four of the cows have qualified under the New Zealand Government semi-ofTiciat*tcst. Three of Mr. Linn's sons, who latterly have had the.management of the pedigree stock, have answered their country's call and joined the colors. This is the sole reason fur Mr. Linn disposing of his magnificent herd, as without their services he will be unable to devote the requisite time to the care of such valuable stock.
