CONFESSION'S OF A TRAITOR. New York, July 7. A sensation has been caused by th» confession of S. Paul, a clurk employed by Morgan, that he and another clerk revealed the Allies' orders to outsiders, including Mr. Clifton, a close friend of Count Bernstorff, also to Carlos Morre. Vil declares that he and a confederate gave Clifton information as to war business obtained from Morgan's cables, also over a hundred copies of Morgan's private memoranda. Clifton and Morre admit certain dealings with Paul, but deny that information was given to Germany. Clifton was Count Bernstorff's lawyer in the A)'' para case. MUNITION- MA KING SLTOP. New York, July V. The Sun expects a great slump ill munition making, as the Allies are now able to supply themselves. American munition manufacturers will after October either close up or resume their old business.
