DOMINION SHOW.
THE SECOND DAY. A GOOD ATTENDANCE. Bettor weather conditions prevailed yesterday for tlip .second day of the Dominion Show at Hawera, consequently there was a very large attendance, the halls being crowded, especially during the afternoon, but save in one or two instances, there was no congestion, all the visitors being able to inspect the Show in comfort. The completeness of the arrangements and the very comprehensive nature of the Show were the theme of general admiration, and the executive have cause to feel satisfied with the success achieved. Everyone appeared to do good business, and nowhere was this more noticeable than in the two stalls which the ladies of the Red Cross Society are holding in aid of the funds of that institution. The judging of the .arious classes left over front the previous day was completed early, the dog section occupying the attention of the judge all day. There were some fine animals benched. Setters and collies were, perhaps, the strongest classes. B. C. Bennett's Irish setter bitch, winner of the Ladies' Bracelet was fit to compete in any show Detailed results:— POT PLANT SECTION.
