OLD PEOPLES HOME DESTROYED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. The Alexandra Home for aged people, situated in Waimea Road, wag totally destroyed by Are at 10 o'clock to-night. Tile building was of wood, and erected about eight years ago. It was the property of the Nelson Charitable Aid Board. Insurances on the building total £2OOO in the Norwich Union and £2OOO in the Royal.
