THE EIGHTEENTHS.

WELLINGTON'S QUOTA. Wellington, Yesterday. The 18th Reinforcements are now being mobilised. Recruiting having been good throughout New Zealand for several months past, it is expected that they will go into camp a full draft. A quota from Wellington City went into camp this morning, '227 strong, or only l(i short of the total requirement. In view of the fact that Wellington has supplied some forty men in excess of its quota for the 17ths, and was asked to supply some forty men in excess of the population quota for the 18ths, this is considered distinctly good.
