VERDUN BATTLES.
ON THE MEUSE. A 810 BOMBARDMENT. Paris, June' 23. The Germans have renewed the big offensive, and have been uninterruptedly bombarding all positions on both banks of the Meuse for 24 hours. The bombardment on the right bank is interpreted as striving to capture forts Souville and Tavaunes, so as to be able to spare reinforcements for other fronts. GERMANY.

It is semiofficially stated, and persistently rumored in the neutral countries, that both Generals Falkenhayn and Conrad have been removed from their posts as Chiefs of the General Staff, and also Ceneral Sehach, the German commander at Verdun.
