340.000 MEN ENLISTED,
EXPLOSION AT MUNITION WORKS. Ottawa, June 21. Up till June l.i Canadian enlistments had totalled 340,000. Men are being recruited and enlisting proceeds at the rate of 500 daily An explosion and fire destroyed the plant of the Canadian Explosives Company, at Parry Sound. Vive men are dead, and there are many, injured. A German plot is suspected.
