CROPS BEING RUINED. Berne, June 20. The winter rye crop in Germany is almost ruined by the heavy rain's that have prevailed for the past four or five weeks, and unless tli-j weather improves the wheat crop is bound to be seriously damaged.

A wireless messages ,-nys that the Kolnische Voiles Zeitung published an officer's letter, which, while admitting starvation and hardships u n wives and mothers, urges the censorship of all letters from relatives, because complaints are calculated to have evil effects upon the soldiers iu the trenches.
