Other planks declare for freedom of the seas, and the encouragement of American shipping. Mi' Roosevelt's friend, Mr. Perkins, nfter confc-ring with Republican leaders, has intimated that the Republicans and Progressives are going together to support Mr. Hughes GERMAN PAPER'S VIEWS.
