A very pretty wedding was solemnised at Kaponga on Wednesday in St. John's Methodist Church, the Rev. C. Blair officiating. The contracting parties were Miss Annie Ella Law, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Law, of Burnside Farm, and Mr. Robert Sulzberger, youngest son of Mr, J. Sulzberger, of Ngaere. The church was tastefully decorated by members of the Young Ladies' Guild. The bride was charmingly gowned in white crepe de chine, with the orthodox wreath and veil. Her sister, Mr. Edith Law, was bridesmaid, and wore a dainty frock of white voile, with black tagel hat. The bride's bouquet was composed of white lilies, roses and narcissi and asparagus fern. Mr. J. Law. brother of the bride, attended the bridegroom. As the happy couple left the church the Wedding March was played by Mrs. Arthur Collins, sister of the bride. The wedding breakfast was held at the residence of the iiide's father, where the usual toasts were honored in a marquee on the lawn. Mr. and Mrs. Sulzberger left per motor for Wanganui and the south, the bride's travelling dress being a brown costume, with black velvet hat. Beautiful presents were received, including cniques, also a gift from the Girls' Hockey Club, of which the bride was a former captain.

On Monday afternoon a kitcben tea was given to Mis* Law by Mesdanies Rlair and Severne. at the residence of die latfer, a suitable lot of presents being received, and on the same evening she was presented with a biscuit barrel and entertained at St. John's parsonage by the members of the Young' Ladies' Guild. The bride's present tn the bridegroom was a travelling rug, the bridegroom's present to the bride a travelling bag. and the bridegroom's present to the bridesmaid was a gold bangle NOTES. One of the most artistic features of the J. C. Williamson "Mother Goose" pantomime is "My Little Dream Girl." During the singing of the song hy Colin (Miss Lilian de Venny) the theatre is darkened, and from the interior of a large pink rose that opens its petals there rises a beautiful girl, who floats [out into the auditorium, the dainty figure being illuminated by the pink flush of a spot light, the whole of the stage and auditorium being in darkness. The effect is indescribably pretty^
